Night Light

The hardest part of our transition from the hospital (NICU) to the house was feeling prepared with everything we would need to care for our little guy. This would have been an issue if he was full term, or early. When we first brought him home, I barely slept. That first night we were getting used to his whines, squeaks, and breathing. Was that a normal sound? Or was that a bad sound? I was worried he would pull his swaddle over his face… the list goes on. It was terrifying. I started googling and searching Amazon for a way to feel like I could see him, without having a lamp on (with too much light) in our room. A plug in night light would be too far from his co-sleeper, so what could I use? Then, I found it. The VAVA Baby Night Light. Found it for about $20 on Amazon.

This night light is amazing. It has different settings, colors and most of all for me was cordless. The battery is said to last 80 hours. I have had it going on two weeks now and I charged it today for the first time and not because it was dead, but because I just didn’t know when it would go out and wanted to get ahead on charging it. The charging it just a USB cord, so you can plug it into your phone charger, computer or whatever. Super easy.

For a new mommy, that is still getting used to this whole sleeping and caring for a new baby this product has been a life saver. Would highly recommend.
